What is our idea?​

Kugle is a game where you play with your friends in a cute galaxy in which you collect, breed and trade colourful little critters known as Kugles: relax and explore the world, gather food and play diverse mini-games.

Why did we choose to tackle this project?​

To be honest, the current state of crypto games is disappointing. Seeing this, we realized that with our background in the video game industry, we could do much better. We asked ourselves: why not try to create something genuinely enjoyable to play? We believe there’s a significant opportunity for free-to-play (F2P) games that can successfully onboard a massive web2 audience. Web2 players contribute value to the game by actively engaging with it, while web3 users are incentivized by this large web2 player base, which continually requires resources to enhance their gameplay.

Why NEON ?​

We chose NEON_EVM for several compelling reasons. To understand our decision, let's revisit the beginning of our project. Initially, we started on Solana because of its core values: Proof of Stake, fast and secure transactions, and low fees. However, we encountered several technical challenges while building on Solana, including undocumented code, a lack of community support for Rust development, and key API links and functions changing overnight without notice.

Midway through the project, we made the significant decision to switch to an EVM environment using Solidity. While this required bridging our existing assets, it proved to be the best strategy. In just one month, we developed all the Smart Contracts we needed—a process that had taken six months on Solana. The documentation was more accessible, the community was more supportive, and the Layer 2 blockchain was fast and easy to work with.

Then we discovered NEON, which shared the same mentality and core values as Solana but was built on EVM. After reviewing their code and values, we decided to go all in with NEON, aiming to be one of the first major players in the P2E industry within their ecosystem.

What is GU?​

GU is the utility token tied to the game Kugle. It plays a crucial role in enhancing the in-game experience by unlocking various Reward Tiers based on the amount of GU held by the player:

  • Population Expansion: Increases the space available to stake more creatures in the game, allowing players to earn additional rewards.
  • Reward Tickets: Generates “reward tickets,” which can be exchanged for free items in the game shop.
  • Automation: Automates daily care tasks for Eggs and Kugles, simplifying gameplay.
  • Cosmetic Trails: Unlocks cosmetic trails that showcase the player's current reward tier, visible to other players.

These rewards are essential for the competitive nature of the game modes and support the breeding system, enabling users to create and customize their own creatures.

What Makes GU Unique?​

GU was designed from the ground up to be a stable, widespread token. Unlike many web3 games, GU is not earned directly in-game (besides airdrops and events). It doesn’t need to be spent to obtain reward, simply holding GU unlocks rewards in-game. Rewards are built in such a way that the first Tiers require very little GU, so many separate individuals will hold GU for gameplay purposes and participate in its stability.

How Many GU Are There in Circulation?​

GU launched on TGE Q4 2024 with 10,000,000 GU tokens.

  • 35% of the supply will be given to players through airdrop and events
  • 25% of the supply is reserved for our Blockchain partner Neon
  • 15% of the supply is available on IDOs
  • 15% of the supply is reserved for the next game in the Kugle franchise (2026+)
  • 10% of the supply is reserved for the KugleCorp team, locked 1 year with 2 years vesting

Who Are the Founders of KugleCorp?​

KugleCorp is a French indie game studio based in Paris. Composed of 8 passionate individuals, founded in 2021.

With the majority of the team coming from the video game industry, KugleCorp got to work, with a simple goal in mind : Creating a quality game before all. After 3 years of hard work, the game was ready for release. Kuglecorp then partnered with the Neon blockchain.

Through this partnership Kugle ensures years of new game modes and updates to the game, keeping the experience fresh and accessible to everyone.

Where Can I Buy GU?​

GU is minted and is available today in OTC Then we will make our first IDO in October on PixelRealm. Then we will open the GU via defi protocole on NEON Finally, the GU will be available on a CEX to be announed.

When will Kugle be released?​

Challenges users are facing:​

The main issue our users are facing is the complexity of setting up a wallet and understanding the web3 technology. Making the overall onboarding process a little too involved for web2 users. The solution is to provide a seamless integration of blockchain payments in-game. We are currently implementing Immutable's Unity API in our game as a remedy.

Our stance on open source:​

For clarity and insurance, all the tokenomics and smart contracts are open source. So our users can have a clear view of the systems. As the game itself, we've decided to keep the engine closed source for now as future projects of ours might make use of it.

How is your work going to benefit the broader blockchain gaming space?​

We are focused on making an enticing game experience before all. As such, we've built a complete game experience that doesn't require spending to enjoy. We've also made sure that all aspects of the game remain affordable. With an economy built to scale with any amount of players. The whole team is from the game industry, our focus is to make fun and engaging games before all. Web3 is just a new technology/method of monetizing our game.

How did we grow our waitlist?​

We have bet on creating a play for free game, with the goal to have a massive adoption by web2 users. Then inside the game, the user is pushed (by the gameplay) to create an account with an email to have a unique Kugle to play with. Then later if the player want to have the full experience (hatch, breeding...), he can buy some eggs (NFT) from our website and tokens to Play To Fast, and for investissor can Play To Earn by trading NFT, doing breeding, selling tokens to player who want to Play To Fast, and more.

We are a tech company that provide the creation, production, editing, and promotion of video games, across all platforms, utilizing the artistic universes developed within the framework of video games, targeting diverse audiences, companies, professionals, organizations, associations, and public authorities.
